My Plan

"I`ve talked about your teachers` responsibility for inspiring you, and pushing you to learn." This is one of the points that really makes me want to be more focused in school. Many of our teachers are there for us and try to persuade us to come to school everyday prepared to learn. I think the point our president Barack Obama is trying to make is that the responsibility does not only rely on us but also on the teachers, in trying to help us in different kind of ways in order to make us understand the subject completely. Same way students make efforts to succeed the teachers should try helping us by pushing us to not be afraid to learn and show us that there is more out there than what we think.

"I`ve talked about your parents` responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and get your homework done, and don`t spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with that Xbox." This point also makes perfect sense because sometimes we tend to come home from school and think the learning should stop. We leave our homework to the side and prefer doing other things that might not be able to prepare us for the future. We go home and watch TV, lay down and text all day or on the phone, or even play video games. But in reality we should be going over our work and making sure we still understand the school work at home. Parents play a big role in this part, because once the child is home the parent should be able to control the child's action and make sure everything needed to be done for school is done. Parents have to help us keep focused and start setting some rules at home.

This speech has inspired me because it doesn`t make me feel alone in fact, it makes me feel like I have to give a hundred percent in focusing in school but I also can have the help of my teachers, and parents. They can also make me be more successful and give me a push on the right direction when I need it or feel like I`m falling off tracks.
